No offense...

... To my other kids. I've had really good babies. Reid's initial fussiness was probably because he was starving for his first two months of life (milk production issues). Jane probably seemed more difficult than she really was because we were in the midst of Derek's hardest year of residency (and she was girl-- let's be honest, our gender is more high-maintenance from the get-go). Joseph is so NICE. He is patient when he is hungry, he goes to sleep easily. He has such a sweet smile. He sleeps through the night most of the time, which allows me to get enough sleep to maintain my sanity. If he were a screamer, I know my nerves would be frayed. Joey doesn't talk back to me, or tease his siblings; he doesn't throw tantrums or make messes. I have learned that those days will inevitably come, which is why I'm cherishing this time now. So if my kids ever read this, what I'm saying is that I have loved and adored each one of you, but at the present, Joseph is making it possible for me to continue to love and adore ALL of you.

what a cute little guy, he's growing so quickly. and i think he must have more weaver genes, because i don't see a lot of hatch baby resemblance from these photos. looking forward to seeing you this summer!
