This year we have come to appreciate free time more than we ever have, with Derek's work schedule being as busy as it is. Derek starts his last two-week shift of "night float" this week and then he'll graduate from his first year as an intern! 1/3 of the way done with residency! Hooray! In the meantime, we enjoy every little trip to the park and afternoons reading library books in the back yard.
