Welcome Jane!!!

2nd Day of Life
Derek is thrilled to have his little girl!

Grandma Nori is a hospital volunteer who does the hearing screenings for newborns, so she got to do Jane's testing.

Ethan is very comfortable as the biggest brother...
Reid is equally thrilled to have a baby sister... Luke is still not quite sure what it means to not be the baby anymore. For the most part, he says he loves Baby Jane, but one of the first things he did on the second morning that he saw her was poke her in the cheek and said, "Cry."

"This isn't my first rodeo", Uncle Danny said, very comfortable as an uncle, when he met his little niece, the 12th of all of his nieces and nephews. I love seeing the Weaver men with babies-- they are all crazy about them!!!

Grandma Nancy Louise

Aunt Cami was tickled to have a chubby little 8-pound niece with dark hair
(although not half as much as Cami had)

Uncle Matt-- you'd better hurry and leave for college before you get stuck babysitting three nephews and a niece who are all crazy about you!

We couldn't have planned it better... Mandy had scheduled to come for the weekend to visit Jane, who was already supposed to be born. Mandy decided to come eventhough Jane hadn't arrived, and it ended up being timed perfectly...Mandy was there for the labor, delivery, and still had a day to snuggle her brand new niece.

The new and improved Weaver family... now with a little more estrogen to balance things out.
Do you like how the boys forced me out of my own bed?!

Pink! It's a lot of fun to have some pink around the house... even if Jane loves to spit up all over it.

Derek and I get to enjoy some peace and tranquility for 3 days while the boys play in Denver at Grandma Nancy's... a quiet house is so relaxing! And it's amazing how clean it stays, too!

Jane is finally starting to spend a few hours with her eyes open. We think she looks a little like all of the boys, but has her own look.

The pictures of Jane are so beautiful and your family looks great. I can't believe how big all the boys have gotten since I saw them last (has it almost been a year???). Glad to hear you got some immediate downtime with Jane at home...got to LOVE having that family near by. :)

Congrats! She is Beautiful! The picture of you all together is hilarious- Derek looks so proud- like he carried and labored that baby! Ok. So he did deliver it but seriously YOU should be the one in bed! You gotta take advantage Brittney- there are so few times when you are actually allowed to lay in bed! Maybe next time :)

I seem to remember you weren't in your bed when we came to visit you when Luke was born. Ethan and Reid were sitting in it watching cartoons.
She is beautiful. I love the chuncky cheeks. Hope to see you soon.
