Brittany on AM radio

I've become a talk radio junkie when I'm driving in the car these days... Yesterday as I was driving to Denver I couldn't resist and called in to "Caplis and Silverman" when Craig asked Dan if he believed he'd be with his wife in heaven forever. I pulled over when they put me on the air-- I was actually nervous and really surprised that I got on, but excited to have the chance to share a simple statement about what I believe-- and then I unexpectedly got thrown a curve-ball when Craig asked me about homosexuality... but I felt like I answered as well as I could in 15 seconds.

I was on the air around 4:18 pm, so a little less than half-way through if you want to skip ahead... just before Fran Maier, the featured guest.

The boys were whining at me, "Mom, can we go yet?!" until the phone call was over and I turned the radio back on and they heard my name, and then they were so excited about my 30 seconds of fame. :)

Gary and I listened to you and I am so happy for you. You did such a great job and I think you represented the church well. Thanks for being a great example and not being afraid to open your mouth.

UGH! My computer won't let me open it! I am going to try on Dave's computer at work tomorrow. I can't wait to hear...I know you did awesome!!! Always my hero. :)

BTW, the Ellsworth blog is being shut down...but I have another one I am doing so you can still keep up with us. I started it with my mom, but is mostly me and not a family exclusive blog...as she puts it, she is just along for the ride. :)

I was able to listen to it on Dave's laptop. You did great and what a great answer to the homosexual question. Even though I knew it was coming, I got nervous for you when I heard him just drop that on you out of no where. Way to go!!!

Wow...talk about on the spot! You did great. I'm not sure what I would have said, but you did a great job thinking of a way to say it with eloquence and truth. And tell Derek that Rick has decided.... after working on several people who almost died from motorcycle accidents...that he never wants a motorcycle. He used to want one and I strongly disagreed, but now he's sure it's a bad thing!
