Jane has a friend Kirsten whom she affectionately calls "Baby" (not to be confused with her cousin Siena, whom she also refers to as "Baby"... or any number of her baby dolls, for that matter.) Occasionally Jane borrows a diaper from Baby when she is being babysat by Kirsten's mom.
When she comes home, Jane is sure to point to her diaper and tell me "Baby", noting the difference between her Pampers and Baby's Huggies.
I noticed at Sam's Club the other day that Huggies are less expensive than Pampers (after 4 kids, I ought to know better, right?) so I switched brands. I still had some Pampers to go through, but now that Jane has discovered we have "Baby" diapers at our house, she REFUSES to wear the Pampers. I've distracted her a few times, but for the most part she is now very particular about her underwear and will only wear what her friend is wearing.

tell her she can match the little baby if she wears pampers (they were on sale at babies r us)
hmmm....idea! Have some "baby" wear the big girl kind and see how that goes.
I love it!
