Derek's Dad Fred can't get enough of Sunnyside, so he came back for a few more days to visit. Along with hooking up our new smoke alarms, fixing my vacuum attachment that has been broken for over 2 years, mounting a TV, and mowing our lawn (it's no small feat-- push-mowing over an acre of grass takes nearly 2 hours), Fred got to attend our small town festival, Sunshine Days with us. He helped Derek shine up his Bronco to enter in the car show (see the green '76 Bronco in the back ground of the photo?)
We attended the parade with our good friends from our ward... see more photos here... Luke was sooooo excited to see his friend Matteo doing a Mexican dance in the Sunnyside Culture Club group (3rd picture down).
We didn't capture photos of our girls night out to Miss Sunnyside... the high school beauty pageant. Yes, some towns still do that.
